ok first off both computers only have 1 ethernet connection so don't suggest that. I'm already using the port for the internet. I need to know how to create an LAN connection between my computers that are both already o n the internet (they are side by side)

Connect them both into a switch or a router which is connected to the modem or connect it to the 2 wire home portal since it's a router and a modem
