Can somebody plss help me about my computers desktop? Because my desktop can't save but my files in my two Hardwares

(Programs D and Programs C) can save only the desktop can't. Everytime I put some new files in my desktop, then restart myn computer, the file that I made is not found, can somebody plss help me............

Sounds like you have a Deep Freeze program installed.

Is the your computer or are you using your father's?

I had to add that program to my computer to keep my daughter from adding junk files all the time.

ALWAYS save your file before exiting the program where you made it. If you don't, you lost it. The desktop doesn't save. If the icons disappear from your desktop, that doesn't mean the files are gone, however. If you have a PC (I don't know anything about a Mac or a Unix machine), then use your search and look for the name of the file as you saved it.
Are you on some sort of server or LAN and using that account. Or maybe your a user not the admin and the admin has checked that every time you sign out the desktop Items get deleted. Make sure of that..

try saving your files in the my documents folder or create another folder.then follow all the instructions carefully

I think it is best to save your files on your hard drive C and D.. because I remember our technician advises us to not have so many things on the desktop cuz it will make the computer slower when u have so many things there.. also when u reformat your computer when u have your files on ur hardrive, they will not be removed.. But if u really want to see your file on your desktop, make a folder on ur C or D then make a shortcut on the desktop ;-)

The file cant just dissapear, if it was saved to the desktop then it should be there, right click and select auto arrange icons, then you should see the file on the left of your screen. If it is not there you didnt save the file.
