Sharing files between two computers on the same network?

How can I share files between our two computers (desktop and laptop) which are on the same network? I did what%26lt; the help said but it didn't work.

you have to set up a network first then set up a share folder on the main computer,

you will have to create a sharing folder on both computers and share the folders on the network.them copy the files you want to shard folders and that all you got to do.
just set up the network..and then on your harddrives...you have to allow them to share...if not you will get a message saying you dont have permitions...you have to also make sure other people can see your folders...you might want to look into your account manager on the control panel to make sure...this is so 2001...if you cant do this...i dont know how you can dare and buy two computers...obviously you cant even hlandle one...and dont read the help files..you will end up here...where you will get the answer...a human answer..not a bot made gates answer
