use one machine as an internet gateway, and connect them using a network.
I have actually had 8 computers on a dial up connection at once. One computer dials up the ISP and the others route through it.
Dial-up is free,but most people pay because they dont know....using dial-up, you can have only one computer online.with dsl or other high speed services you can have multiple computers connected at the same time
