Is there any way to hook up two computers to the same printer? And I don't mean by using a network, I mean physically connecting them. Is there any kind of splitter or anything else that can do this?

A printer switch will do the job, but ids not a good answer and they are expensive. I don't see your objection to network printing, and this is the easiest way.
