How can i connect my computers with a USB Cable?

I have just bought a USB Direct link Cable From Dollar Tree.

The manufacture is Ecurcuit Electronics.

i was wondering if there was any settings in windows or any sofware that i should use or change?

I want to link my computers to share resources and share internet if possible. there is nothing in the middle of the cable like in the other brands.

Any suggestions will be gladly taken.

yes, u can definitely connect 2 computers together with a USB. Make sure your usb cable is the special kind, that is there's a box or some thing fat sticking out of the cable. U will need to install the driver for your USB network device. Then go to start, control, network. there you should see your newly installed USB network. U need to do that to both computers

You're trying to network your computers. You can't do this with a USB cable (alone).

Usually (for home use) you need a Router and wireless cards or a router with more than one network port and network cables.

The key point in joku's reply is the network device.

You still need a network hub/router. Whether you connect to that with USB or wireless or Cat5 is secondary. First you need a network device.

BTW a router is a network hub and it allows you to connect to the internet (shares one connection between multiple computers). Might as well go wireless if you're going to buy one. A hub just networks your computer, it doesn't connect you to the internet.
You can only do this via a NIC (Network Interface Card) and a hub of some type connected with a CAT5 cable or phone line. USB is just a serial cable.
