Can i split my broadband line for 2 computers.....?

in the first place i am getting my line from my uncle he uses this

wire that looks pretty much like a phone wire but the head thing is huge compared to the average phone head thingy so can anyone please tell me if there is a way to supply 2 computers with broadband connection considering the things i have said....

if possible give a cheap/cost free way because i dont plan on using the internet for both computers everyday

Get a router at walmart for $49 bucks. If you get a wireless router (same price) and your computers have wireless, you can run hundereds of computers.

the broadband modem should have multiple ports in the back (depending on who made it) and if it doesnt, get a switch or a hub from your local radioshack, those guys should be able to help you out
