Roxio Toast 8 for Mac, How many computers can it be installed to?

I am considering buying the Roxio Toast 8 for my macbook. My husband has a macbook too and we were wondering if we could install the program on both computers once we purchase it. We were thinking about buying it off of the Roxio website and they offer both a download version (you can add the disc that they mail later) as well as a regular version that they mail.

Is there anyway that we can we add it to both computers? If you have any information, please let me know.

The licensing on the software is for a single end user only. Which means one computer only. I would encourage you to contact Roxio and check into multiple licensing.

Now that I have said that, here is an alternative answer. You can install the software on you own personal computers. The licensing does not allow this, but you can physically install the software on multiple computers. Be aware that when calling for customer support (if the need should arise) it could be a problem that the software is installed on multiple computers.

The only time that I have seen people run into problems is when they try to sell copies of the software with the key code. Big no no, but if you are using it for yourself and your husband or even your kids computer then you should be alright. Just be aware that Roxio has the right make life difficult for you if they wish.
