Javascript not working on some computers but not others?

I have a javascript which uses a gif as the link. On some computers you can see the link but on others you can not. This is with IE. Any Ideas why?

Find out the version of JAVA client that is running on the working PCs. Make sure the JAVA client are the same on the PCs that are not working.

Sounds like a code problem. IE will display a web page without rigid standardized of xml or html. Graphics malfunctioning are usually a link thing.

Javascript functions are different between IE and Mozilla.
You should probably post your code for better responses......
I iam having the same problem on my page on a site is all wrong.
well....r u sure ure opening the right file?......I have never heard of javascript using gif extension.....
different versions of IE have different ver of JS running

check they are the same
