How do I get 2 computers hooked up to DSL, wired?

I need both my computers hooked up to my ATT Yahoo DSL without going wireless. If they're in different areas of the house how would I do this? Do I get a router and have lines going all through my house or will I need another modem? Each pc has access to a phone jack.

Yep, you'll need to get a wired router, and run LAN/Ethernet cords from it. That way will be much, much cheaper then getting a second modem, because with a router, you'll only have the one time cost for the equipment. :)

You can share the internet connection from the computer connected directly to the modem, but this is not an ideal solution and you would still need to run ethernet cable through the house.

Yep, you need a router and set up a PPPoE connection in it.... i recommend a DLINK router they're effective and not expensive...
