Sharing internet between two computers?

I have a laptop which is connected to my wireless router and another older desktop with no wireless card and only a DSL port so is there anyway to get the two computers to share the wireless from my laptop or at least connect them for file sharing?

consider putting a wireless card into the other PC (can be either another card or a USB wireless).. costs around 拢10..15

failing that fit a netwrok card and run a cable tot the router (assuming that the router supports ethernet/ has a RJ45 port.
Connect them to the router both cable or not and run the 'network wizard' from 'my network places'.
yes you can do that. connect and install a wireless device to your desktop, then configure your wireless connection for home or small office setup.

by doing this u can share file and internet on booth computers.
Just hardwire the desktop to the wireless router.
If your old computer has USB ports you could buy a USB wireless adapter. If not you could buy a PCI wireless adapter.

All you need to do is connect an ethernet cable to the one that doesn't have a wireless card. Or put a wireless card in the computer, and activate file sharing in both.
