I'm doing some industry research and looking for information regarding multi-computer ownership.

First - there is no central site where this kind of data is collected.

Second, not everyone will want to tell.

I think that you need a guesstimate - about 40% of computer users have more than one, according to a survey among 3500 people - done in The Netherlands last year.

We have 3 desktop PCs and 2 laptops at home. This does not include Wifi phones, PDAs and PS2 which my kids connect to the web.
we have 5 in our home but I only purchased 2 myself. Others were gifts for the kids from there grandparents.
I own two computers. I own an HP desktop and laptop.
