Can the bloodhound.w32.ep virus spread to other computers through internet connection?

i have about 3 computers and 2 of them have that virus...

my third computer almost caught it, but the norton antivirus blocked it. Can the virus spread through my internet connection??? I'm not computer savvy at all...so i'd appreciate it if someone could help me with this!

Note: If Norton blocked or quarantined the virus, it should not spread. You should check and clean the quarantine. Also, try to stay away from whatever it was (website, p2p, etc.) that you were doing when Norton alerted you.

They usually also alert the one who created it or the one running the malicious server. A lot of trojans will hit a computer and search out other machines on the same network segment to infect. There is a big chance that your computers are going to be used (if not already) as zombie machines or bots. This would be more likely now-a-days than someone using it to hack into your machines. Most malicious hacks are done automatically now, most attackers who hack for profit are too busy with their criminal activities to bother with personal attacks.

Kill the virus if it infected the machines. If Norton detected it, run a scan and then clean.

It's not a virus it's a trojan and norton won't get rid of it. Try calling 1-866-PCSafety or 1-866-727-2338
