given some of the answers and grammar and spelling on here, i would like to say computers must be smarter...but with their lacking of creativity and visual understanding of the world around them i would have to say people are smarter.

there are also by far more tasks capable of being carried out by a person and done faster than by a computer even if its programmed to do the task...which is another reason, any person can more or less be taught rather quickly to do a job that would take much longer, if even be possible, for a computer.

Humans by a wide margin. Remember a computer only thinks in 1s and 0s. That simplicity allows them to do calculations quicker then (most) humans, but humans think beyond that of any computer.
