Is it possible to get old Apple Computers brand new?

I have a hobby of playing around with old Apple computers. Is it possible to get old Apple computers new/unused? Most of the ones on Ebay are filthy and/or in poor condition.

Id ask at local comuter shops if theyve heard of any. Schools may still have some in the back storage. I know my local library still had some 2gs they sent to a dump (but looked fine to me.)

they have refurbished apple products on the apple website. i dont know how old they are. they arent brand new (obviously) but they are as best as they can get.
a lot of the more rundown elementary schools still have an apple II gs laying around. it really depends on how old you want to go. apple was ahead of the cuve in durability back in the day. but your quest for brand new (really old macs) is a pipe dream.

you would have to contact the school district main office and ask about purchasing an old mac off them. the way schools work is: if it powers up keep it... but the machines are going to be quite filthy reguardless...
not really. there are apple refurbished models though.
I would go directly to Apple and look for used/refurbished.
