1 vista oem = multiple computers?

Can a single windows vista OEM be installed and properly activated to 2 or more completely separated computers?

My friends and I are planning to upgrade to vista someday, and it would be more practical if we just chipped in altogether.

You would be much better off just transforming you current XP to function like Vista.

I think it depends on the version and package.
Full version of Vista only allows 1 Computer to be installed, unlike windows XP which you can install into 1-2 computers.
Sorry, it won't work. One license for one computer. With Vista, you have to connect to the microsoft servers to activate it or it won't work, and you can only activate the serial number on one machine.
