I've noticed really excellent prices on computers listed in pricegrabber and yahoo comparison, but websites are foreign and FAQs state payment must be wire transfer. Any experience with such.

I wouldn't trust them unless it's a very popular website like:
www.dell.com
www.hp.com
However it is better to buy a computer in the store so you can tell the sales representative what exactly your looking for, get a good warranty and know the product your buying better.
