I am starting to think that in a few years or now that computers are going to be the more popular than watching T.V..What do you think?

Yes, as of now in the pace of the technology's progress the computer has evolved from a simple number cruncher to a multimedia one.Look at what it is happening to the computer, one can watch a live TV broadcast and record it ala TIVO.One can do his work at home and at the same time watch his favorite program either in a smaller window or in another monitor (dual monitor mode).In mobile electronics communications,where 3G technologies exist, one can watch real-time(?) or streaming programs on their smart phones.

well by the 2012 olympics i think that most people will be watching on there computers and the old fashioned stand alone TV will be consinged once and for all to the scrap heap.

Having just built or should i say assembled a mediacentre capable PC I'm hoping to put my old TV out to retirement or atleast move it from the lounge to the bedroom for now anyway.
Computers are already pulling viewers away from TV. But the interactive nature of the computer - it's most attractive feature to some - is also it's most unattractive feature to others. Some people don't have the will or the ability to manipulate a computer to do what they want. There will always be TV for people who want to be passively entertained. And until a 50" flat screen plasma monitor comes as standard equipment with computer purchases, big screen lovers will keep TV around!

The computer will be the main entertainment in every household and all the functions of a television will be available in each computer... that's probably how it will be...
