A number of companies manufacture a switch that allows two computers to be used from the same keyboard / mouse / monitor... Some switches can have 3 and 4 computers run from the same controls... Check out tigerdirect.com compusa.com

and other big retailers to see who has what available today.

These types of devices have been manufactured since the 286,

but come and go on the fringe market... There are some with old 9 pin mouse, large DIN keyboard ports ( XT / AT keyboards ) and even 9 pin TTL / EGA monitor plugs, while now, they are made with PS/2 mice, 15 pin monitor plugs, and

small DIN PS2 keyboard plugs... I see these devices from time to time, but pricing and availability change daily, since only a few people use them...

Products at Tiger like:

B451-3028

B451-3026

are tiny everyday use, but you can pay hundreds of dollars for electronic, high-end switches that use expensive Dual-PCI-express videos or HDTV / DVI etc. monitor outputs...

hope this helps

You need a KVM, check out newegg.com for good prices and serive.

If you have a USB keyboard/mouse, make sure your KVM supports USB.
Go and pick one switch at any PC store
I think most monitors only have one place to connect your tower too so I don't know how you would do it.

Keyboard, Video, Monitor switch. It lets you switch to multiple computers from one kvm interface.
you can simply use a KVM switch which lets you control several computers by one set of keyboard+video(monitor)+mouse(KVM) or in reverse see the contents of one PC on several monitors.
