How come plane computers never crash?

Thank God they don't, obviously, but like Lee Evans said 'You can't reboot those f***ers up there y'know!'

So how come the on-board computers always stay reliable and manage to get us safely from one destination to another? No Blue screen of death or anything? I don't get it.

they don't always work properly, It's just that if there is even a slight suggestion of a problem they make you wait until it has been fixed or they transfer you too another plane.

Been there 4 hours while they tried to fix it and another hour moving aeroplane.

They don't. Planes crash and cause can sometimes be the failure of the on board instrumentation, fly by wire technology and computers.

where did u get the info that they never crash? are u an omnipotent force that knows all? they could quite well have crashed in the past. For all we know some plane crashed may have been caused by that....its not as if you have watched all the news 24/7 for the last 50 yrs to know? that could have already happened in the 80s for example, and how would you know any different?
