Where can I find a list of bluetooth compatible computers, or a list of the types of computers that

I need to know as many computers, or at least types of computers, that are bluetooth compatible. Also I'd like to know the printers that have bluetooth compatibility. If someone could tell me or link me to a website that could give me this information it would be appreciated.

All computers with Windos XP and newer, have the drivers for bluetooth devices.

As for printers, since Bluetooth technology is becoming so popular and standard many printer manufacturers are beginning to include Bluetooth support in newer printer models. This option will be detailed under the connectivity section in the product label.

All of them are, just go find a bluetooth adapter from BestBuy or somewhere cheap and see the requirements on it.

All PC's should work and Macs too i guess
any computer with USB connector (winXP and above at least) can be bluetooth compatible since you can buy those bluetooth adapter nowadays on the cheap

If you need the graphics on, (this is for Internet Explorer)go to "Tools" on the top of the window, click on "Internet Options", and go to "Advanced." Scroll down the huge list of random stuff and find "Show Pictures" under "Multimedia." Go to Friendster, Bebo, etc. There you can share your stuff.

Check in the Internet options to see whether you have disabled the displaying of images. I'm sorry, I don't know much about Windows/IE so I can't help you much - I use Linux.
Unfortunately, since you don't know much about computers, you can't explain the problem well. Hence, won't be able to help :(

Bleh, here goes: Are you using firefox? If not, get it at: www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ that should solve the problems about the html thing. If it turns out you have firefox, then check this by going to: view, page style, basic style page.
I don't know about the HTML stuff.

The music, you should be able to just save the music to the "Shared Documents" in "My Computer", then any profile on the computer should be able to access it, I don't know for sure I've never had other users on my computer.

Yes. It's generally done with a crossover cable. You can probably find specific directions with your Windows guide. It differs from one operating system to another, but you can fairly easily get two computers to recognize each other.

How do you I connect to local computers on same network with pcanywhere?

Only 1 computer has pcanywhere on it. I know there is a way to connect to all others(just the computers connected to the same router) without installing it on them.

How do you I connect to local computers on same network with pcanywhere?norten

In order to use pcanywhere, you need it installed on more than one computer. One computer needs to be the host, the other needs to be the remote. I dont know of any way around this. If you dont want to spend the money on installing pcanywhere on all your computers, there are free programs such as Tight VNC that will let you remote into another computer running Tight VNC, its pretty easy to set up, and runs pretty good.

Can you connect two computers a Desktop and a Laptop to one printer?

Is it possible that a Sony PC desktop and a Laptop from Sony can share one HP printer? If so what is the correct connection to use to share this? Or must I download certain software so that both computers are able to talk to the printer? Thanks. We only have a PC internet card not DSL on the DESKTOP..

Can you connect two computers a Desktop and a Laptop to one printer?nortin

You can do this several ways. The simplest route would be to set up the printer on the desktop, and share it to the laptop. This would require the desktop to be on and running Windows whenever the laptop needs to print. It would also require both computers to be on the same network, whether you have DSL or not. Alternatively, if you don't have a router but do have Ethernet ports on both computers, you can connect them directly to each other with an Ethernet crossover cable, readily available at computer/electronic stores.

Regardless of how you connect the computers, the key is that the desktop will act as a host for the printer, and the laptop will print to it as a "shared" resource. If you're using Windows XP or Vista, you have all the software you'll need. Assuming that's your environment, here's the basic drill in setting it up:

On the desktop:

1. Enable basic file/printer sharing on the desktop if it isn't already

Trying to set up file share between two home computers?

I'm using MS network setup wizard, and at the end it tells me that I need to save the network settings to a disk to install them on all client computers. But none of my computers have floppy drives or flash drives and that's the only way that it will let you save? How do I get the settings on my second computer?

Trying to set up file share between two home computers?norton 360

I aint sure but that is what I hate bout this new comp Im using (my sis's and her b/f til they move out) there is no floppy drive - I have to set my old one up just to get info off the floppy's

Trying to set up file share between two home computers?photoshop

If it doesn't have a floppy drive it does have a USB port use that you can copy this info onto a portable MP3 player and transfer the info
if you are using xp, when it says that it gives 4 options, right, just click on no, just finish the wizard and let windows do the rest, you just have to mark the folders you want to share, and decide whether you want them read only, or read/write, and have the open or specific users, passwords, all that
Set all the coupters in one work group.

Create users with same name and password on all the machines.

Then you can start sharing.
dont worry about that last step, just select "just finish" xp isnt like 98, you can just goto the other machines and go through the same setup, only make sure you are not telling all the computers to connect to the internet the same way and yes make sure you are putting the same workgroup name on all the computers or it will not share files or printers.
install a floppy virtual on both machines http://chitchat.at.infoseek.co.jp/vmware...

copy the written data from the floppy to cd then go to the second machine and copy the data to any folder, set that folder as virtual floppy disk and the ms network wizard will be able to load from that floppy disk.
hyperterminal may be the solution. but u need to work on it before u can transfer files. u have to configure ur ip and then transfer the files. I mean u can simply configure ur ip to 10.1.1.1 and the host compu ip and open up a hyperterminal window %26gt; define the Connection as TCPIP or such and eureka its done
a software called "Network magic" is your answer.
