I have a problem with 2 computers. Can anyone please try to help me?

I have a modem which has windows 98. Everytime i try to open a website, it says cant display the page. I don't know too much about computers. So im thinking it has to do with the settings. But i don't knowwhat to change and what not to change. And the computer i'm using now has windows xp but at the start it says ultrabios100 is not installed. I have no clue what that means either or how to fix it. Please help if you can. Thanks

Win 98 computer.

If it is not connecting to the internet you need to install the win 98 Drivers for the modem. (dial up or modem Ethernet card for DSL?).

If you installed the correct drivers and it does not work, test the card in another computer.

Another possibility is the software or browser does not support win 98.

Do you have an ultra ATA 100 disk controller that needs drivers? It might be shown in the Windows Device Manager.

Right click on "My Computer%26gt; Properties%26gt; Hardware Tab %26gt; Device Manager Button.

Do you have a Promise Ultra100 or Ulta 100TX2 card installed? Did you install the drivers for it?

check your firewall maybe it block ur explorer
